2019: in front of Glacier
Love Roses appears for the first time in the results of Carriacou Regatta Festival in 2019. In the class of large decked sloops, the boat finished first, ahead of American Dream and the Patrice family's sloop: Glacier.
That year, Glacier made up for it by winning the island tour.
January 2022: two victories at the Grenada Sailing Week
At the end of January 2022, Grenada Sailing Week stopped in Carriacou. Love Roses was entered in the CSA Simplified Racing division, alongside Carriacou sloops and modern cruising sailboats.
On January 30th, the race rounds Carriacou. The start is given at Tyrrel Bay, the boats head north, pass between Carriacou and Petite Martinique under downwind sail, then sail upwind to the finish line, again at Tyrrel Bay. Benson Patrice races on his home waters and wins.
Patrice Benson was the winner racing around his home waters on Carriacou Sloop Love Roses. Second was another local entry, Cyril Compton's Carriacou Sloop Margetta-O.

On January 31st, the final race brought the fleet back from Carriacou to Grenada. Love Roses won again, ahead of Margetta-O. In the same race, Benson Patrice's other sloop finished third. Glacier.
In the CSA Simplified Racing Division, Patrice Benson scored a second race win with his Carriacou Sloop Love Roses.

After 2022, the trail goes cold.
In October 2023, the Caribbean Compass reported that Benson Patrice owned three sloops: Glacier, Power Play, and Power Surge. Love Roses was no longer included. The other two each had their own profile. Power Play, Power Surge.
What remains to be found
The shipwright, the year of construction, the length, the origin of the name, and the boat's fate after 2022 remain unknown. It is also unknown whether Love Roses was sold, renamed, or lost. Any information or photographs that could complete this record are welcome.
