The last one in history

Free in St Barth is the third and most recent of Enoe's sloops, after Genesis And Exodus. Its construction was financed by Thierry de Badereau, who was captivated by the West Indies Regatta and the lifestyle that surrounds it. To date, it is the last Carriacou sloop built.

The boat made its debut at the West Indies Regatta in 2016, where it took first place. It won the event again in 2024. On July 31, 2026, it won the sloop race at the Carriacou Regatta Festival, ahead of Margeta, Glacier And Savvy.

Thierry de Badereau acts as an ambassador for wooden shipbuilding and contributes to the preservation of this know-how in the Caribbean.

The launch date was long uncertain, fluctuating between 2015 and 2017 according to various documents. It is now fixed at November 8, 2015, which coincides with his regatta debut the following year.
