The largest ship to leave Carriacou in decades
Construction began around 2015 on Windward Beach. By the end of 2016, the press was already reporting on a sixty-five-foot hull under construction, intended for freight transport between the islands, and the shipwright stated he had been working on it for a year. The boat was launched on the 1ster March 2020, in front of the whole village.
The hull is cobalt blue, the upper parts white, the deck orange, all separated by bright stripes. The keel wood comes from Guyana, the rest from Grenada.

The launch was filmed. The Grenada tourism board released the video on September 10, 2020, under the title "Launching Reality 2 in Pure Carriacou." The builder himself recounts the construction process in front of the hull.

What remains to be established
Its dimensions. The press gives a measurement of sixty-five feet long by eighteen feet wide. In the film, the builder mentions fifty-six feet by eighteen and a half feet. The fact sheet uses the press figures, which are better substantiated.
The duration of the construction project. The manufacturer mentions two and a half years. Dates reported in the press suggest more like four to five.
Local stories say the boat sank during Hurricane Beryl on July 2, 2024, in Carriacou.
