Built for Popo Corion
Phiabiana Corion is one of the largest boats built by Alwyn Enoe. At 76 feet, its hull exceeds that of the schooner Jambalaya, which measures 73 feet.
Alwyn Enoe built it for a man named Popo Corion, after whom the boat is named. Popo Corion remained its sole owner, and the boat never changed its name.
Left to decay
The boat was eventually abandoned. Left without maintenance, it rotted away, according to Alwyn Enoe. Neither the year of its construction nor the year it was abandoned is known.
A name on a plaque
Phiabiana Corion is among the twelve boats engraved on the plaque of the first Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to Alwyn Enoe in 2019 by the Carriacou Regatta Festival.

What remains to be found
The year of construction, the type of rigging, the boat's use, the location where the hull was abandoned, and the history of Popo Corion remain to be established. Any information or photographs that could complete this record are welcome.
