It was built entirely by hand in a village on Brazil&#039;s central coast where shipbuilding is a heritage passed down through generations. They say there, &quot;It takes a whole village to make a boat,&quot; because the entire village works together on these projects, each one unique.<\/p><p>Its buyers recount finding it on the riverbed where it had been built, just two months after its completion. The wood is a species native to the coastal forests of Brazil; each tree is used entirely and replaced with a new sapling.<\/p><p>Today it serves as the flagship for the charitable projects of a local
