Callistus \u00e9tait seulement conseill\u00e9 par son p\u00e8re, <a href=\"\/charpentiers\/alwyn-enoe\/\">Alwyn Enoe<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Novembre 2015 : la rel\u00e8ve de Windward<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Free est lanc\u00e9 le dimanche 8 novembre 2015 sur la plage de Windward. Son m\u00e2t est pos\u00e9 \u00e0 Harvey Vale, de l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00eele, puis Callistus Enoe embarque pour la travers\u00e9e jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Antigua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour le Caribbean Compass, c\u2019est un tournant : le premier bateau construit par les fils d\u2019Alwyn Enoe, et le premier d\u2019une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de charpentiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The first boat built by Alwyn Enoe\u2019s sons, the first boat built by a new generation of boat builders.<\/p>\n<cite>Caribbean Compass, janvier 2016<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Son armateur, Thierry de Badereau, est depuis devenu un ambassadeur de la construction navale en bois, un savoir-faire que la West Indies Regatta veut garder vivant.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Du chantier Woodstock d\u2019Antigua \u00e0 la marque de v\u00eatements<\/h2><p>Apr\u00e8s la mise \u00e0 l\u2019eau, le sloop est parti pour le chantier Woodstock, \u00e0 Antigua, pour la pose du moteur, de l\u2019h\u00e9lice et du m\u00e2t. Cal faisait partie du voyage.<\/p><p>Le bateau a servi d\u2019\u00e9g\u00e9rie \u00e0 la marque de v\u00eatements Free in St Barth, dont Thierry de Badereau est le propri\u00e9taire.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un port d\u2019attache \u00e0 Windward<\/h2><p>Le bateau devait faire des sorties charters avec des clients \u00e0 Saint-Barth\u00e9lemy. Les normes europ\u00e9ennes, trop compliqu\u00e9es, ont rendu cette activit\u00e9 trop difficile \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre sur le territoire fran\u00e7ais.<\/p><p>Free in St Barth est depuis bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Windward, sur l\u2019\u00eele de Carriacou. Le sloop fait parfois des sorties en mer avec des clients locaux, et Cal continue de veiller \u00e0 son entretien.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fid\u00e8le \u00e0 la West Indies Regatta<\/h2><p>Free in St Barth a fait ses d\u00e9buts \u00e0 la West Indies Regatta en 2016, o\u00f9 le sloop a pris la premi\u00e8re place. Il a de nouveau remport\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9preuve en 2024.<\/p><p>Presque chaque ann\u00e9e, le bateau revient \u00e0 Saint-Barth\u00e9lemy pour la West Indies Regatta. Seule exception, 2025 : un malheureux incident a l\u00e9g\u00e8rement endommag\u00e9 le bateau sur des rochers.<\/p><p>Free a depuis \u00e9t\u00e9 remis en \u00e9tat et a particip\u00e9 aux r\u00e9gates de 2026. Le sloop s\u2019y est encore illustr\u00e9 par sa rapidit\u00e9, mais aussi par son \u00e9quipage, en grande partie compos\u00e9 de marins de Carriacou. Le 31 juillet 2026, Free in St Barth a gagn\u00e9 le tour de l\u2019\u00eele lors du Carriacou Regatta Festival.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Du chantier \u00e0 la mise \u00e0 l\u2019eau, en
